Award winning Executive Chef Amy Visco has recieved national and local attention for her creative menus combining local, organic and natural ingredients into her cooking. She has won several awards at Sanibels "Taste of the Islands" including "Best fish and Seafood", "Best Restaurant" and "Best Chef" only to name a few.
After graduating college where she earned her degree in Culunary Arts, she started her career at the historic Seelback Hotel's Oakroom. It was there while working as a Sous Chef that she helped change the restaurant from a AAA three Diamond rating to a five Diamond rating.
Amy has spent time as a board member of the national organization, Women Chef's and Restaurateurs Association.
She has had the opportunity to work at some of the finest restaurants before making her home at Sunset Grill. With the Sunset Grill's open style kitchen Amy can be seen most afternoons and evenings preparing the nights fresh menu.
